Scuf Omega performance controller unveiled for PlayStation 5

Scuf Gaming has launched the Scuf Omega, a new performance controller for PlayStation 5, offering advanced customization and compatibility with multiple platforms.

Scuf Gaming has introduced the Scuf Omega, a new performance controller officially licensed for PlayStation 5 consoles. This controller is also compatible with PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. Starting today, gamers can experience a controller designed for seamless integration, low-latency connectivity, and advanced customization options that Scuf is renowned for.

Enhanced customization for competitive edge

The Scuf Omega offers players a total of 28 inputs, including 11 additional customizable inputs such as four rear paddles, two side buttons, and five G-Keys. These features allow players to perform critical actions without lifting their thumbs, such as jumping or reloading while aiming. The inputs can be remapped directly on the controller or customized further using the Scuf Mobile App, which allows for multiple profiles and detailed layout adjustments.

The Scuf Mobile App: Tailor your gaming experience

Available on iOS and Android, the Scuf Mobile App gives users full control over the Omega’s performance. Gamers can build and manage multiple profiles, save settings directly to the controller, and adjust sensitivity with true 0% deadzones. The app also allows fine-tuning of trigger and thumbstick response curves, configuration of SOCD settings for fighting games, and management of audio controls. Additionally, users can monitor battery levels, set up mobile gaming connectivity, and personalize RGB lighting on PC.

Precision and durability

The Scuf Omega features Omron mechanical switches in its Instant Triggers, D-Pad, and Action Buttons, providing a crisp, mouse-click feel. The Instant Triggers are adjustable, allowing users to switch between fast click mode for FPS games or full analog range for driving games. Its Endurance TMR Thumbsticks utilize non-contact magnetic sensing technology for reliability, available in various shapes and heights to suit different playstyles.

Designed for long gaming sessions

Ergonomically refined over 15 years, the Omega’s design incorporates feedback from professional gamers. It features a non-slip grip texture and has removed vibration modules to reduce weight and prevent interference during gameplay. These design choices aim to enhance comfort and control during extended gaming sessions.

The Scuf Omega is available worldwide starting May 12, 2026, with a retail price of $219.99 USD/€239.99 EUR/£209.99 GBP/37,980.00 JPY, though prices may vary by region. For more information, visit Scuf Gaming’s website.
