Zero Parades: For Dead Spies introduces intriguing character lineup

We are thrilled to return to the PlayStation Blog to unveil a new trailer for Zero Parades: For Dead Spies. Previously, during September’s State of Play, we highlighted several unique gameplay features of Zero Parades. Today, we aim to introduce the characters central to our narrative.

In Zero Parades, players assume the role of Hershel Wilk, also known as Cascade, a talented yet unfortunate spy working for the Operant Bureau. Hershel is summoned back by her superiors for a critical mission. Five years ago, her former network, the Whole Sick Crew, was dismantled. Now, it’s crucial for Hershel to reunite them.

Karolina
Cryptonym: Kindred
As the youngest member, Karolina was both a protégé and like a younger sibling to Hershel. She was taught all aspects of espionage, from stealth operations to interrogation techniques. Her last known location was within a clandestine Dream Study, where she might still remain.

Ramses
Cryptonym: Radian
Ramses is the Whole Sick Crew’s expert in audio surveillance and forensics, capable of tapping any line or bugging any room. He was more than a colleague to Hershel, being a close friend with whom she shared relaxing moments.

Tempo
Cryptonym: Taxman
Tempo is a significant figure in the Portofiran underworld, known for his ability to procure anything through legal or illegal means. He recognized the potential of Luzian technology and culture early on, profiting immensely from his insight. His distinctive presence is marked by his colorful language and constant smoking of imported Ouroboros Black cigarettes.

Vespar
Cryptonym: Virtue
Vespar is part of the elite investigative police force, the carabineros, in Portofiro. His links to city authorities and informants in the local mafia provide invaluable intelligence. He is often found at the Fogged Mirror, whether on or off duty.

Eszti
Cryptonym: Estoc
Eszti is a highly skilled and straightforward operative who went undercover within the Portofiran government as a liaison with EMTERR, a global development bank and rival intelligence agency. She risked her safety to alert Hershel about the compromised network but was left behind during the escape.

Holocene
Real name unknown
Holocene, the enigmatic second-in-command, is the crew’s cryptography expert. He possesses theories on nearly everything, including the existence of a cat-run intelligence service. While decoding ciphers is his forte, engaging in a typical conversation is not.

The Whole Sick Crew, also known as the Friends You Left to Die, is essential to the mission’s success. It’s a matter of rebuilding trust on both sides.
