Hyundai Motor Group introduces ‘Pleos Connect’ infotainment system

Hyundai Motor Group is launching Pleos Connect, an advanced infotainment system, as part of its transition to Software-Defined Vehicles, with plans to integrate it into 20 million vehicles by 2030.

Hyundai Motor Group is set to launch its latest infotainment system, Pleos Connect, in May, marking its first step in transitioning to Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV). This new system will initially be available in Korea on Hyundai Motor’s new GRANDEUR model, with a phased rollout planned globally. The IONIQ 3 will be the first European model to incorporate Pleos Connect.

By the year 2030, Hyundai Motor Group aims to integrate Pleos Connect into approximately 20 million vehicles across its Hyundai Motor, Kia, and Genesis brands. The system is designed with an intuitive user experience, featuring a central widescreen, a slim forward display, and physical buttons to ensure convenient and safe control of the vehicle.

The advanced navigation component of Pleos Connect offers intuitive, data-driven route guidance supported by online maps and seamlessly integrates with Gleo AI. This allows for a more connected and efficient driving experience.

Additionally, the App Market within Pleos Connect provides an open ecosystem that supports music, video, and web browsing, effectively extending the mobile experience into the vehicle. This innovation reflects Hyundai Motor Group’s commitment to enhancing the in-vehicle experience for its customers.
