Hyundai Motor Group and Georgia Tech collaborate on hydrogen mobility initiatives

Hyundai Motor Group and Georgia Tech have partnered to advance hydrogen mobility, with donations including NEXO SUVs and a hydrogen electrolyzer for campus use.

Hyundai Motor Group has entered into a multi-year partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology to advance hydrogen mobility solutions. This collaboration involves Hyundai Motor North America donating four NEXO fuel cell electric SUVs and Hyundai Motor Group providing a hydrogen electrolyzer project specifically for use on the Georgia Tech campus.

This new initiative is set to bring NEXO hydrogen fuel cell SUVs and associated fueling infrastructure to the university, thereby enhancing research, workforce development, and promoting zero-emissions logistics. The NEXO SUVs are expected to be utilized in various capacities, supporting campus operations and facilitating interdisciplinary research in fields such as engineering, sustainability, energy systems, and public policy.

By integrating these cutting-edge vehicles and infrastructure into the campus environment, the partnership aims to foster deeper understanding and innovation in hydrogen technology.
