Amazon Quick integrates Amazon S3 table buckets as a data source

Amazon Quick now supports Amazon S3 table buckets as a data source, enabling seamless analytics with no need for intermediate data warehouses. This feature is available across all AWS Regions where Amazon Quick is accessible.

Amazon Quick has announced support for Amazon S3 table buckets as a data source, allowing users to create dashboards, engage in conversational analytics, and explore Apache Iceberg tables stored within these buckets. This enhancement eliminates the need for an intermediate data warehouse or OLAP layers, enabling seamless interaction with lakehouse data in Amazon Quick for both artificial intelligence and business intelligence tasks through a streamlined data architecture.

By integrating with Zero-ETL from various sources such as Salesforce, SAP, and Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose directly into S3 table buckets, users can achieve near real-time insights with minimal reliance on data pipeline dependencies. The setup process is simplified: administrators need to configure S3 table bucket permissions only once, allowing authors to immediately create datasets and begin building analytics solutions.

Datasets stored in S3 table buckets are fully accessible through Amazon Quick’s Dataset Q&A feature, which enables users to pose natural language questions and receive answers based on the data stored in their data lakes, ensuring accuracy and reliability. This new capability is now available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Quick is offered. For more detailed information on how to get started, users are encouraged to consult the related blog post.
