Amazon Quick introduces dashboard generation from natural language inputs
Amazon Quick’s new Generate Analysis feature allows users to create dashboards from natural language prompts, significantly reducing the time needed for dashboard creation. Initially available to Enterprise and Author Pro users, the feature is accessible in all AWS Regions where Amazon Quick is offered.
Amazon Quick has launched a new feature called Generate Analysis, which allows users to create dashboards using natural language prompts. Users can simply describe the type of dashboard they need, select up to three datasets, and review an editable plan before the system generates the dashboard. This process significantly reduces the time required for dashboard creation, cutting it down from hours to just minutes.
Generate Analysis facilitates the creation of dashboards by allowing users to specify their objectives, such as “create a sales performance dashboard with revenue trends, regional comparisons, and month-over-month growth.” The tool produces dashboards that are ready for further customization and are compatible with existing publishing workflows, embedding, CI/CD pipelines, and easy point-and-click editing.
Initially, this feature is available to users with an Enterprise subscription or Author Pro status. These users will have promotional access to Generate Analysis until December 2026, as long as their organization does not restrict access. The feature is now accessible in all AWS Regions where Amazon Quick is offered.
For those interested in utilizing this new capability, more information can be found in the Amazon Quick User Guide under Generating an analysis with natural language prompts. Users can start by opening any dataset in Amazon Quick and selecting the Generate Analysis option.
