The highly anticipated Helldivers 2 Warbond, titled The Exo Experts, is scheduled for release on April 28. This new addition promises to enhance players’ experiences with advanced equipment and features.
In the ongoing battle against the adversaries of Managed Democracy, machines, typically seen as enemies, can also serve as powerful allies when used effectively. The Ministry of Defense has approved the deployment of new Exosuits to support these efforts.
Weapons and Stratagems
The Exo Experts Warbond introduces a variety of offensive tools. Leading the lineup is the EXO-51 Lumberer, a modern iteration of the original Galactic War’s Lumberers. This Exosuit is equipped with both an anti-tank cannon and a flamethrower, offering players the ability to cause significant damage and eliminate smaller threats with ease.
Also featured is the EXO-55 Breakthrough, which comes with a flak cannon and a ballistic shield, empowering players to confront formidable foes while providing substantial firepower.
For those preferring lighter options, the MGX-42 Bullet Storm offers a disposable machine gun with caseless ammunition. This weapon is available in pairs, allowing players to discard them after use.
Additionally, ground troops have access to the SMG-203 Gallant, a high-rate-of-fire submachine gun, and the P-33 Missile Pistol, which boasts guided, heat-propelled rounds with a 60% hit rate.
Armors and Capes
To ensure player safety, new armors have been introduced. The O-2 Heavy Operator armor is the standard for those operating heavy machinery and is best paired with the Watchful Compatriot cape, reminiscent of early Galactic War merchandise.
The O-3 Free Spirit armor, featuring SteerComfort, allows wearers to feel connected with their Exosuits. The Free Spirited Spangles cape celebrates those who carry out their duties with flair. Both armors include the Oxygenator perk, enhancing mobility within safety guidelines.
Players can further personalize their experience with the Exosuit Certified title and the Thumb of Approval emote, adding a touch of individuality to their gameplay.
