Hyundai Motor set to participate in Nürburgring 24-hour race for 11th year

Hyundai Motor will participate in the 2026 Nürburgring 24-hour race, continuing an 11-year tradition. The company aims for a sixth TCR class victory with its ELANTRA N TCR model.

Hyundai Motor Company has confirmed its participation in the 2026 ADAC RAVENOL 24H Nürburgring race, scheduled for May 16-17. This marks the automaker’s 11th consecutive year competing in the renowned endurance event, a tradition that began in 2016.

The company will field its ELANTRA N TCR model, aiming for a sixth consecutive victory in the TCR class. The race has been a significant platform for Hyundai to demonstrate the capabilities of its high-performance vehicles, and the ELANTRA N TCR has been a key player in securing the brand’s reputation in motorsports.

In addition to the TCR class entry, Hyundai will also compete in the SP4T class with two ELANTRA N1 RP cars. These vehicles will feature pre-production engines, highlighting Hyundai’s commitment to innovation and testing new technologies under competitive conditions.
