Hyundai Motor shines light on hidden sea forests worldwide

Hyundai Motor has launched an initiative to bring global attention to sea forests located in countries such as Korea, Argentina, and Australia. This campaign, initiated during Earth Month, emphasizes the ecological significance of marine ecosystems by promoting naming and identity-building efforts.

The project aims to enhance public awareness and provide data access through a dedicated website, where individuals can register and map these vital underwater habitats. By doing so, Hyundai Motor seeks to highlight the critical role sea forests play in combating climate change and supporting marine biodiversity.

Additionally, the company is actively involved in ongoing marine conservation efforts, including restoration projects of the Ulsan sea forest. These initiatives are conducted in collaboration with various Korean government agencies, demonstrating a commitment to preserving and rehabilitating these crucial ecosystems.
