Hyundai’s HTWO hydrogen brand introduced in Japan at H2&FC Expo

Hyundai Motor Group has launched its hydrogen brand, HTWO, in Japan at the H2&FC Expo, showcasing the new Japan-spec NEXO with innovative Vehicle-to-Home capability.

Hyundai Motor Group has officially introduced its hydrogen brand, HTWO, in Japan during the H2&FC Expo. This marks the brand’s debut in the Japanese market, where Hyundai is showcasing its extensive range of hydrogen technologies, covering the entire value chain from production to utilization.

At the event, Hyundai is presenting the Japan-specific model of its latest NEXO, a fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV). Attendees who have registered will have the opportunity to partake in test drives of this new model. A notable feature of the Japan-spec NEXO is its new Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) capability, which allows the vehicle to supply power to a home, offering an innovative use for hydrogen technology in everyday life.

In addition to the vehicle showcase, Hyundai Motor Group is participating in a conference session where it will share insights into its history of fuel cell development. The session will also cover Hyundai’s comprehensive lineup of FCEVs, emphasizing the group’s commitment to advancing hydrogen technology and its applications in the automotive industry.
