Samsung introduces spatial signage for enhanced brand visibility

Samsung’s new Spatial Signage offers a sleek, 3D display solution that enhances brand visibility in crowded spaces without requiring extensive floor space. The technology is supported by Samsung’s Visual eXperience Transformation platform for easy content management.

In bustling retail and public environments, capturing consumer attention is crucial, and three-dimensional displays have proven effective in achieving this. However, traditional 3D installations often require significant floor space, which is not always feasible for every brand.

Samsung aims to address this challenge with its innovative Spatial Signage. This product features a sleek 52 mm profile and utilizes Samsung’s proprietary 3D Plate technology, offering depth and dimension without the bulk of conventional 3D signage systems.

Designed to fit a variety of spaces, Spatial Signage comes in multiple sizes, including 32-inch, 55-inch, and 85-inch models. These displays can be strategically placed on shelves, used to accentuate specific product areas, or serve as focal points on larger feature walls. This flexibility allows retailers and venues to enhance their visual impact without the need for extensive space redesigns.

For those concerned about content creation and management, Samsung’s Visual eXperience Transformation (VXT) provides a comprehensive solution. VXT enables businesses to remotely manage their connected screens and easily produce video content tailored for signage. The newly integrated AI Studio app further simplifies this process by allowing users to create signage-optimized content using a single product image and a text prompt.

The AI Studio app also offers an option to upscale content to 4K UHD resolution at 60 frames per second. It supports general digital signage and includes an optional feature to optimize videos specifically for Spatial Signage, ensuring a captivating and immersive 3D display experience.

Samsung VXT streamlines the management of content across both conventional digital signage and Spatial Signage, providing a unified platform that reduces workflow complexity. This integration allows for seamless control and content management, enhancing operational efficiency.

Currently, the availability of each Spatial Signage size may vary by region, with the 32-inch and 55-inch models expected to be released later this year. Installation requires compatible wall mount accessories, which are sold separately. Additionally, Samsung VXT and AI Studio may involve separate purchases and potential additional costs based on usage.
