Following its web debut in mid-2024, Google’s NotebookLM—an AI-powered research assistant—is now rolling out dedicated Android and iOS apps, officially launched at Google I/O 2025 on May 20. The mobile version includes interactive features like Audio Overview and seamless integration with Gemini AI capabilities. Users can now query, summarize, and explore research across devices via a dedicated app instead of browser access. Pre-launch listings appeared on both Google Play and the App Store, allowing users to pre-register; the apps are designed for productivity use cases such as academic research, brainstorming, and note-taking.
