AWS Elemental MediaTailor launches in Europe (London)
AWS Elemental MediaTailor is now available in the Europe (London) AWS Region, enabling video providers to deliver targeted ads with reduced latency and improved ad fill rates across Northern Europe.
AWS Elemental MediaTailor is now operational in the Europe (London) AWS Region. MediaTailor is a service designed for personalized ad insertion and channel assembly, allowing video providers to deliver targeted advertisements in both live and on-demand video streams. This is achieved through server-side ad insertion (SSAI) and Server Guided Ad Insertion (SGAI), which provide a broadcast-quality viewing experience without the common issues of buffering or ad blockers that are associated with client-side ad insertion.
With this new availability, customers who are serving audiences in Northern Europe can now manage ad insertion workloads closer to their viewers. This proximity reduces ad decisioning latency and enhances ad fill rates. Those utilizing SSAI or SGAI workflows will experience benefits such as reduced latency in ad stitching and improved ad tracking due to the closer proximity to their European audience. Additionally, customers who are already using MediaTailor in the Europe (Ireland) region will find this new region beneficial for redundancy and increased capacity.
