Samsung Electronics appoints new head for visual display business
Samsung Electronics has appointed President Won-Jin Lee as the new head of its Visual Display Business, while President Seok Woo Yong will serve as an advisor within the DX Division.
Samsung Electronics has announced a leadership change within its Visual Display Business, appointing President Won-Jin Lee as the new head. The current head, President Seok Woo Yong, will transition to an advisory role within the Device eXperience (DX) Division.
President Won-Jin Lee, who previously led the Global Marketing Office, brings extensive expertise in content, service, and marketing. He has been instrumental in laying the groundwork for Samsung Electronics’ TV and mobile service businesses. His proven track record of business achievements and market acumen are expected to drive business transformations and explore new growth opportunities, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the Visual Display Business.
Meanwhile, President Seok Woo Yong will utilize his research and development expertise and considerable business experience to offer strategic advice on key future technologies within the DX Division, including areas such as artificial intelligence and robotics.
