Samsung Electronics maintains top position in global soundbar sales for 12th year

Samsung Electronics has been recognized as the world’s leading soundbar brand for the 12th consecutive year, maintaining its dominance in the audio-visual sector.

Samsung Electronics has announced that it continues to lead the audio-visual market as the world’s top soundbar brand for the 12th consecutive year.

According to recent research conducted by Future Source, Samsung accounted for 21.5% of global soundbar revenue and 19.7% of unit volume in 2025. This achievement extends its leadership that began in 2014 and, along with two decades of global TV dominance, underscores Samsung’s prominent role in the home entertainment industry.

Samsung attributes its ongoing success in the soundbar sector to its advanced audio technology, immersive sound experiences, and seamless compatibility with Samsung TVs. Building on this foundation, Samsung plans to enhance its audio lineup in 2026 with new products designed to deliver cinema-quality sound tailored to various living environments.

The upcoming lineup will feature:

  • HW‑Q990H flagship soundbar, following the HW‑Q990F
  • All‑in‑one soundbar HW‑QS90H
  • Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 Wi‑Fi speakers designed by Bouroullec

“At Samsung, we take special pride in our soundbar brand and see it as a way to bring premium sound experiences to homes everywhere,” stated Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “Being named the top soundbar brand in the world for the 12th consecutive year is not just a tremendous honor, but a testament to our commitment to premium home entertainment.”

The data is drawn from the Omdia Q4 2025 Public Display Report, by unit sales.
