Samsung integrates art into daily life at Art Basel Hong Kong 2026
Samsung showcased its 2026 Art TVs at Art Basel Hong Kong, integrating art into daily life. The event featured a blend of digital displays and interactive experiences, demonstrating how art can transcend traditional spaces.
From March 25 to 29, Samsung showcased its vision of integrating art into everyday life at Art Basel Hong Kong 2026. The event, which hosted 240 leading galleries from 41 countries and territories, is one of the art world’s most prestigious gatherings. Samsung’s special booth demonstrated how its 2026 Art TVs can bring artwork to life with stunning detail.
The Samsung Art Lounge provided visitors with an immersive experience, combining monumental digital imagery with intimate viewing moments. As the official Art TV provider for Art Basel, Samsung demonstrated how art can transcend traditional gallery spaces and become a part of daily life at home.
A New Home for World-Class Art
The Samsung Art TV Lounge was designed around the theme “Crossing Time, Crossing Space,” blending Korean artistic heritage with a modern vision of home art. Upon entering, visitors were greeted by a vivid digital display across Samsung Art TVs, beginning with an exterior LED facade.
The centerpiece of the lounge was a 130-inch Micro RGB display, which served as an architectural focal point for digital art. The exhibition featured a cube-like setup with Samsung OLED on one side, The Frame Pro on the other, and the Micro RGB anchoring the display, each capturing artistic details with precision.
The exhibition included selections from the late Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-Hee’s renowned collection, presented through Samsung’s partnership with the National Museum of Korea. It also featured works by artists such as Yoon-Hee and JongSuk Yoon, showcasing a blend of Asian and European styles.
Further into the exhibition, guests explored the Samsung Art Store’s 2026 Art Basel Hong Kong collection, which included 25 works from 20 emerging and established artists from eight prestigious galleries.
Interactive experiences extended beyond the lounge, with visitors engaging with Samsung Art TV displays throughout the fair and participating in a selfie activation at the Hong Kong Entertainment Building Shopping Arcade, illustrating how art can be part of everyday life.
An Evening of Art, Style, and Discovery
Samsung hosted an exclusive evening at Pier 1929, allowing guests to explore their artistic preferences with Samsung Art TV. The event featured interactive programs, artwork selections, and dinner conversations, fostering a personal connection with art.
Junwha Hong, Vice President and Head of Marketing for Samsung’s Visual Display Business, highlighted Samsung’s ongoing partnership with Art Basel and how the 2026 Art TV lineup expands access to world-class art in everyday spaces.
Art Basel, Beyond the Fair
