OnePlus has started rolling out a new incremental update for the OnePlus Nord 4 under OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 in the Indian market. The update not only introduces feature improvements but also strengthens device security and privacy.
The build integrates the January 2026 Android security patch, enhancing overall system protection. OnePlus has also added a useful privacy-focused feature that allows users to edit images and videos directly within Private Safe without unlocking files first.
The Phone Manager app now includes a new prompt that allows users to enable automatic blocklist updates over Wi-Fi and mobile data. According to OnePlus, this improves detection accuracy and protection efficiency against spam and potential threats.
Beyond security, the update also brings system refinements such as better Smart Sidebar functionality, improved app icon resizing, and enhanced Photos app filters.
The update is being released in batches and is currently limited to users who have already upgraded to OxygenOS 16.
