Samsung introduces 32-inch model to its spatial signage lineup
Samsung has launched a 32-inch model in its Spatial Signage lineup, expanding its glasses-free 3D display options. The new model is designed for compact spaces and includes updates to Samsung’s digital signage platform.
Samsung Electronics has announced the worldwide release of its 32-inch Samsung Spatial Signage (SMHX model), expanding its range of glasses-free 3D commercial displays. This new model is designed specifically for narrow shelves and counters, providing brands with a versatile tool to showcase product-focused content in a full 3D rotation.
Hyoung Jae Kim, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, stated, “The 32-inch Spatial Signage makes immersive 3D accessible across a much wider range of commercial environments. Combined with our growing portfolio of displays and solutions, the new model reflects Samsung’s commitment to building a connected commercial display ecosystem that customers can rely on, wherever they operate.”
The 32-inch model follows the earlier global launch of the 85-inch Spatial Signage, which is intended for large retail installations requiring life-size product visuals. The smaller 32-inch version brings the same glasses-free 3D technology to more compact spaces such as shelves and counters, making it suitable for various settings, including retail, public spaces, entertainment venues, education, and hospitality.
Utilizing Samsung’s patented 3D Plate technology, the Spatial Signage delivers different images to each eye, creating cinematic depth without the need for 3D glasses. It maintains full clarity while allowing a 360-degree view of products. The 32-inch model is lightweight, weighing only 8.5 kg, and features a slim 49.4 mm profile with FHD resolution (1,080 x 1,920) in a 9:16 portrait format. It is compatible with industry-standard VESA wall mounts for easy installation.
The Spatial Signage series has received industry accolades, including a CES 2026 Innovation Award and a Silver award at the Edison Awards. Samsung plans to further expand this lineup with additional sizes, including a 55-inch model.
Alongside the hardware launch, Samsung introduced updates to its cloud-based digital signage platform, Samsung VXT. These updates enhance the platform’s capabilities, allowing businesses to manage connected screens, automate content delivery, and create signage-ready video content. New features include scheduling capabilities for screen presets, Smart Download to reduce network traffic, and AI Studio for creating signage-ready videos.
Samsung VXT also offers expanded content management features, such as automated content transitions based on weather conditions, synchronized content transitions across multiple screens, and real-time streaming of live broadcasts.
Samsung’s ongoing innovations in display technology and platform capabilities have solidified its position as the leading commercial display provider globally for 17 years. The 32-inch Spatial Signage is now available in Korea and will be introduced to global markets throughout 2026.
